NFPA 101 Compliance Made Simple
According to NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, all exit and emergency lights must:
- Be illuminated during all occupancy hours
- Have the word "EXIT" clearly visible (minimum 6" height, 0.75" stroke width)
- Be capable of operating for at least 90 minutes in emergency mode
- Undergo a documented annual inspection
